Cottage Cheese Delight...by Michael

Cottage cheese tastes good by itself or used as a topping. It happens to be the main ingredient in this short story that it very special as we shall soon see why. Let us begin at the location where this event takes place. Your every day average Italian restaurant in a small neighborhood where newcomers and regulars often go to. In this story it is one regular customer and one newcomer who we shall focus on. Arnold is the regular Friday night customer and Amy is a new patron who just recently moved into the small neighborhood. Tables for one were fairly close to each other as she was already there when he arrived. Her order came first as a dish of plain spaghetti with sauce was placed in front of her. However, a special request was granted as cottage cheese was added to the plate. His same dish came five minutes later with the same special request already taken care of. From a few feet away, Arnold said hello to her and then pointed to his same exact plate. They both laughed out loud at this very strange occurrence and after their meal was finished, they decided to sit at the restaurants bar for a few drinks. That was how Arnold and Amy met, over a bowl of spaghetti with sauce and cottage cheese. The dating began as the two of them got along just fine with the same mutual attraction for each other. Each visited the others apartment and shared dinners together which naturally had cottage cheese involved. Five years later the now married couple bought a home together in a new neighborhood. One Friday night they made a reservation in an old neighborhood they used to live in. The owner was still there and remembered that couple sitting together at a table for one which became two. "Cottage cheese with your dishes of spaghetti and sauce I presume"? The three of them laughed out loud as the waitress served their dinner. "Cottage cheese delight", she said with a smile as the memories were placed on the table...

Interesting. I like spaghetti and I like cottage cheese, but never thought of putting them together...

It's a favorite of mine and I suggest for you try it. Just make sure the cottage cheese goes on it cold after the spaghetti is done and put on the plate.
